Immanuel Kant, 300 years from now

The Congress "Immanuel Kant, 300 years from now" will be held at the University of Catania, 17-19th October, 2024. Scholars from all over the world will be involved in presentations and discussions of the most up-to-date research on Kant’s philosophy. Invited speakers include Professors Allen Wood (Stanford University), Arthur Ripstein (University of Toronto), Corinna Mieth (Ruhr-Universität Bochum)Nicholas Vrousalis (Erasmus University Rotterdam), Nuria Sánchez Madrid (Complutense University of Madrid)Paul Guyer (Brown University), Sebastiano Maffettone (LUISS University), and Susan Shell (Boston College). 

The Congress is addressed to scholars at an advanced stage of their career as well as junior researchers with an interest in Kantian philosophy. Participants will find the ideal context for high quality feedback on their ongoing work and challenging discussions. Over three days, the conference will be structured around invited talks and presentations selected through a call for papers.

Abstracts are welcome for the “IMMANUEL KANT, 300 YEARS FROM NOW,” to be held at the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Catania from October 17 to 19, 2024. Abstracts from scholars at an advanced stage of their careers and junior researchers should be between 400 and 500 words, with 5 Keywords

The official language is English, but participants can submit and present their papers in Italian, German, Portuguese, Spanish, or French. If papers are not written in English, an English version of the texts should be made available at the moment of the presentation.
