Resumo:

Este artigo objetiva investigar como Jürgen Habermas conceitua sua ideia de natureza humana no âmbito de seu pensamento pós-metafísico, numa perspectiva crítica em relação às intervenções das biotecnologias na constituição de um futuro ser. A ação comunicativa habermasiana remete à prática da argumentação como instância de racionalidade. Do contrário, uma norma não seria justificada perante o outro. É justamente esta perspectiva que guia Habermas em suas reflexões sobre as intervenções biotecnológicas nos seres humanos. Habermas reflete as questões das biotecnologias e suas consequências à luz de seu pensamento pós-metafísico. Primeiramente reconstruiremos o que podemos chamar de um quadro referencial teórico do pensamento pós-metafísico, tal qual um solo teórico para pensarmos as questões colocadas por Habermas. Em seguida, explicitaremos a reflexão habermasiana acerca das biotecnologias. Por fim, enfatizaremos as possibilidades e os limites de Habermas para tratar de questões referentes às biotecnologias, tendo como referência seu pensamento pós-metafísico.

Abstract:

This article aims to investigate how Jürgen Habermas conceptualizes his idea of human nature in the context of his postmetaphysical thinking, in a critical perspective in relation to the interventions of biotechnologies in the constitution of a future being. The Habermasian communicative action refers to the practice of argumentation as an instance of rationality. Otherwise, one rule would not be justified before the other. It is precisely this perspective that guides Habermas in his reflections on biotechnological interventions in human beings. Habermas reflects biotechnology issues and its consequences in the light of his post-metaphysical thinking. Firstly, we shall reconstruct what can be called a theoretical framework of post-metaphysical thought, such as a theoretical soil for thinking about the questions posed by Habermas Next, we shall explain habermasian reflection on biotechnology. Finally, we may emphasize habermas' possibilities and limits to deal with issues related to biotechnologies, having as reference his post-metaphysical thinking.
