Resumo:

Pese a que se han escrito infinidad de libros y artículos con respecto a la polémica en torno al psicologismo, no existe hasta hoy clareza con respecto al propio concepto de psicologismo. Por tal razón, y como un primer paso para el cumplimiento de la tarea anterior, en las líneas que siguen nos proponemos estudiar la historia del término “psicologismo”, evidenciando sus oscilaciones y poniendo de manifiesto la falsedad de muchas afirmaciones habituales a su respecto.

Abstract:

 Even though countless books and articles have been written on the controversy surrounding psychologism, there is no clarity to date concerning the concept of psychologism itself. For this reason, and as a first step towards achieving a consensual definition, we intend in the following lines to study the history of the term “psychologism”, identifying its oscillations and demonstrating the falsity of many habitual statements regarding the topic.
