Resumo:

Entre Simone Weil (SW) e Blaise Pascal (BP) há muito em comum. Ambos são filósofos, pensadores brilhantes. Ambos fizeram uma profunda experiência de Deus, que determinou seu itinerário vital e teve impacto igualmente em seu pensar. São dois intelectuais e ao mesmo tempo dois místicos. Dois pensadores e ao mesmo tempo e inseparavelmente, duas testemunhas. Nossa intenção neste artigo será procurar mostrar como a experiência intelectual e a experiência mística em um e em outra, longe de excluir-se, interrogam-se mutuamente e acabam por fecundar-se em reciprocidade. É esta experiência que leva ambos a ir além da metafísica e da onto-teologia em sua reflexão sobre Deus. Igualmente procuraremos valorizar algumas diferenças e convergências existentes entre os dois pensadores no que concerne sua experiência e pensar sobre Deus e sua relação com a Bíblia e a Igreja.

Abstract:

Between Simone Weil (SW) and Blaise Pascal (BP) there is a lot in common. Both are philosophers, brilliant thinkers. Both had a profound experience of God, which determined their vital itinerary and also had an impact on their thinking. They are two intellectuals and at the same time two mystics. Two thinkers and at the same time and inseparably two witnesses. Our intention in this article will be to try to show how intellectual experience and mystical experience in one and the other, far from excluding each other, interrogate each other and end up fertilizing each other in reciprocity. It is this experience that leads both to go beyond metaphysics and onto-theology in their reflection on God. We will also try to value some differences and convergences that exist between the two thinkers regarding their experience and thinking about God and their relationship with the Bible and the Church.
