Resumo:

De Auxiliis designa uma famosa controvérsia fi losófi co-teológica do fi nal do século XVI e início do século XVII, que envolveu teólogos espanhóis dominicanos e jesuítas em torno do tema/problema do livre arbítrio humano sob a influxo da graça divina. Considerado filosoficamente, o problema central gira em torno à determinação semântica de enunciados condicionais contrafactuais, problema este já presente em todos os enunciados teóricos composicionais. A partir do contexto histórico e teológico da controvérsia, juntamente com o surgimento do Molinismo, apresentaremos, com alguns aportes da Filosofia Estrutural-Sistemática proposta por Lorenz Puntel, o problema filosófico da determinação semântica de sentenças teóricas em geral e a nova forma de determiná-las semanticamente. Isso possibilitará a elaboração filosófica de uma nova Teoria do Ser, na qual a grande questão de “Deus” e seus atributos encontrará seu mais adequado lugar teórico no discurso filosófico sistemático.

Abstract:

De Auxiliis designates a famous philosophical-theological controversy in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, which involved Spanish Dominicans and Jesuits theologians around the theme/problem of human free will under the influence of divine grace. Approaching it from a philosophical perspective, the core issue centers on the semantic determination of counterfactual statements, a problem already present in all compositional theoretical statements. Drawing from the historical and theological context of the controversy, along with the emergence of Molinism, we will presente, with some contributions from the Structural-Sistematic Philosophy – as proposed by Lorenz Puntel – the philosophical problem of the semantic determination of theoretical sentences at large, alongside a novel approach to their semantic determination. This will enable the philosophical development of a new Theory of Being, wherein the profound question of “God” and his atributes will find its most suitable theoretical place in sistematic philosophical discourse.
